Alison Hammmond revealed she was forced to pull out of Friday’s This Morning alongside Dermot O’Leary.

The 50-year-old usually hosts the ITV show alongside the former X Factor presenter at the end of each week, after Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard‘s stint Monday to Thursday.
At the end of Thursday’s episode of This Morning, Cat Deeley shocked viewers as she revealed a shock presenter shake-up for Friday’s instalment of the ITV daytime show.
Lisa Snowdon, 53, will be hosting the show alongside Dermot.
Alison has since taken to Instagram explaining to fans: ‘Good morning everybody, I’ve got a filter on this, as I look that rough.
‘I’ve had the worst hayfever for the last, I’d say two to three days.
‘I don’t know what’s hit me, but it has hit be like a bus.
‘So I’m just letting you know that I’m not going to be making This Morning today.
‘But the lovely Lisa Snowdon is going to be stepping into my shoes looking after my lovely Dermot, listen, I’ll see you next week.
‘I’m fine, but I’ve got loads of drugs, I’ve got all the hayfever stuff!’
She then showed off all the medicine that she’s been taking, including a nose spray, vitamin D tablets, eye drops and an electric robot hoovering up the house for her.
Alison ended the video with: ‘I am fine, I’ll see you next week! Love you lots.
‘Sorry I am not there today.’
The star also shared a video of her hoover working its magic on the floor with Soul II Soul’s song Keep On Movin’ in the background.
At the start of Friday’s instalment, Dermot introduced Lisa and said: ‘Alison is a little bit poorly today, she says it’s hay fever, but I think it’s more than that, I think it’s a bad flu.’
Lisa added: ‘She sounded terrible and she doesn’t look her freshest either so she needs to rest. She’s had a major allergic reaction she looks and feels terrible so feel better soon!’
It comes after, at the end of Thursday’s episode, Cat told viewers: ‘Dermot is presenting tomorrow alongside Lisa Snowdon.
‘They will be joined by BGT choir Hear Our Voice ahead of this weekend’s semi-final.’
Ben added: ‘Clodagh leaving the cows and children and tractors…
‘She’ll be back in the studio for a Eurovision party snacks.’
Cat added: ‘The coupon king is going to be back here with his weekly deals. That is tomorrow from 10!’
